American Cancer Society--Patient Resource Center

The Patient Resource Center at the Center for Cancer Care is a service provided by the American Cancer Society for all members of the community. The goal is to have an area that is comfortable and accessible for people to obtain reliable information on all aspects of cancer including prevention, detection, coping and survival.

All of the American Cancer Society’s brochures, printed materials, videos and educational tools are available as well. Trained volunteers are present to answer questions and provide information on valuable resources including local support groups, educational programs and other helpful community resources.

There is also a computer on-site that is linked to the American Cancer Society’s Information Database and internet access. A printer will be available to take home information.
