The Center for Canter Care Fund provides financial assistance to Northwest Connecticut cancer patients who are in need. Donations and bequests from individuals, area organizations, and businesses make the Fund’s activities possible.

The Emergency Fund provides help to patients in immediate need of financial assistance for:

• Transportation
• Therapies
• Medications

If certain criteria are met, the Patient Assistance Fund is available for unexpected emergencies in which the patient has no other immediate resources available including:

• Food
• Transportation Emergencies
• Utility Bills (if power/phone is pending cutoff due to non-payment)
• Medications not covered by insurance (limited quantities only)
• Necessary non-prescription items
• Other emergency needs as determined by case manager or clinical staff

Additionally, The Center for Cancer Care Fund helps make possible a variety of services related to cancer care including:

• Cancer Prevention Education
• Patient Support Activities
• Staff Development

Donations to The Center for Cancer Care Fund are tax deductible and all donation amounts are most welcome.
